![]() ![]() All endgame raid parties seek to fulfill that requirement. Also, at endgame raids (Toad, Chaos Zakum, Chaos Horntail), there's a diversity requirement where if you have less than 5 different classes, the bosses spawn twice as many mobs, which is a major obstacle. Class balance: Several classes have changes to make them more viable (Heaven's Hammer can reset cooldown on Hero's Will, Marksmen can blind bosses, Smokescreen prevents seduce for all parties in a raid and also increases DPS).No HP washing: INT items and HP washing are unnecessary because of the Zakum / Horntail HP system (mentioned below).People still buy leech and attack while leeching, sort of like super-fast grinding. Otherwise, they only get a fraction of exp. Nerfed Leeching: Characters have to be active in a map (attacking at least once every 30 seconds) to get full exp from leeching. Some people might consider this a con, but I think it makes raids more exciting. I've found that this streamlines the game to the most fun parts. Of course, grinding is still an option, but Saga is a social experience that prioritizes party play (even grinding in parties gives an exp bonus). There are NPCs that allow you to smega to the entire server, and recruit for your PQ or raid for free (as well as regular grinding parties). ![]() Very fun PQ and raid based meta: The usual levelling progression on Saga involves PQing until around 115, grinding or Bigfoot to 120, and then raiding and PQing to 200, with some quests in between. This will be very detailed, to paint a full portrait of the server for those interested. I'm writing this as a free player who still joins endgame raids regularly, having reached a relatively high damage range through casual but consistent play. I'm aware that some people consider it a pay2win server, but I think that the raid-based meta, custom content, frequent events, and community definitely outweigh that aspect. I think it's a unique pre-BB Maple experience that does a lot of things very well. Hi, I've been playing Saga for a year (I'm unaffiliated with the administration of the server) and I'd like to share my impressions of the server.
